Dakota Allen

I am from Panora were I live with my husband and our son. We enjoy camping and being outdoors. My passion for optometry came after I graduated from DMACC in 2013 as an Optometry tech. I enjoy working in a small community were I get to know my patients on a personal level and giving them the gift of sight.

Isela Jacobson

I’ve been in Perry for about 20 years. I grew up in the community and graduated from Perry high school. I have 3 daughters and a dog. In my free time I like to relax and spend time with my family watching movies.

I enjoy assisting patients with choosing out their glasses and seeing familiar faces coming back to see us. Working with the community I grew up with has helped provide a more personalized experience for our patients in meeting their optical needs.

Brenda

Stuart has been our home for 8 years. My husband of 45 years and I came to Stuart after living in the Des Moines Metro. While our 2 boys were in school, I wanted a stable career and found that I enjoyed eye care. Working with a group of Opthtmologists for several years taught me many skills. I joined Eye Care Associates in November of 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed the small town atmosphere. In my free time I like to sew, craft, bake and garden. My husband and I like to watch college sports and take in a movie. We have two weiner dogs, Pepper and Lyn, that keep us busy. It’s my goal to help improve and maintain everyone’s vision with superior service in a personalized manner.

Megan Joint

I am from Bagley, IA. I grew up in Guthrie county but have been working in Greene County for a few years now and love Jefferson and the amazing community here.

I am love doing anything art related or crafty in my free time and enjoy going on walks or spending time at the local parks with my daughter.

I’m excited to continue getting to work with the wonderful and supportive community in Greene County.

I’m from Perry where I live with my fiancé and our daughter who just turned 1. In our free time we love going for walks to the park and going to the lake. I graduated from DMACC and got my associates degree in accounting. I decided to try the optometry field and am loving it so far! I love that I’m able to help people with a big part of their lives which is their vision!

I am from the small town of Newell, Iowa. I moved to this area at the end of 2023 and quickly fell in love with the community. In my free time, I run a tattoo business and enjoy hanging out with my daughter. I am new to the optometry field but love watching people light up when they get their new glasses in and they’re everything they expected and more. I’m so excited to continue in this line of work!
